Pamela Levinson is an experienced litigator with a background including complex business litigation and investigations and compliance. She is admitted to practice in Florida and the District of Columbia.
Pamela began her legal career serving as law clerk to the Honorable Adalberto Jordan, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, who now serves on the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Following her federal clerkship, Pamela entered private practice in the Miami office of a large law firm representing clients on matters involving contracts, real property, construction, employment, forfeiture and insurance matters. She later practiced with a “Big Law” firm in Washington, D.C., where she gained extensive experience and developed an expertise in management of large and complex cases, conducting internal corporate investigations, representing clients in civil and criminal investigative matters, and litigating commercial disputes on behalf of clients in a wide-range of industries, including pharmaceutical, financial, education, technology and government contracts.
Following an accomplished and successful career as an acquisition executive in the film industry and as a small business owner, Pamela obtained her J.D. summa cum laude, graduating first in her class from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, where she was a member of the University of Miami Law Review and the Order of the Coif, a national legal society recognizing outstanding academic achievement. During her law school career, Pamela was the recipient of several Book awards, recognizing the highest grade in a class, as well as West Group Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Awards. Pamela has recently returned to Sarasota, Florida, where she first decided to enter the practice of law.
Pamela was born in Akron, Ohio and has lived and traveled throughout the country. She has two children, and enjoys art, architecture and design, music, antiquing, travel and pop culture.
